After spending more than 35 years dedicated to the food science industry with a unique focus on research and development, Steven stepped away from traditional business, retiring from his position as Senior Director of Global Nutrition Technology Applications at PepsiCo. However, as former colleagues began to reach out requesting his unique insight and perspective on problems and opportunities within the industry, he answered the call. In response to their need, Steven founded Havlik Consulting. His aim is to provide provisional consulting on a wide variety of food industry topics for organizations that share his passion for innovative approaches to food science & technology. While Steven is well versed in product & process improvement, business development, food quality and safety, and risk management, his true passion lies in helping businesses strategize and develop innovative approaches to the food science industry.
